• Open ACT
• Plugins > OverlayPlugin.dll
• New
  • Name: Instance
  • Preset: Custom
  • Type: MiniParse
• Highlight your new Instance MiniParseOverlay, and set
  • URL: https://allainecactuar.github.io/ffxiv-instance-overlay/instance-overlay.html
• Reload overlay

Until you change zones, you will see a zero inside a circle, that will let you position and resize the overlay.

Once you change zones, the circle will disappear unless you’re in an instanced zone, in which case it will show the instance number.
